It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Superdelegates?!

What a scam!  Has anyone ever heard of these superdelegates?  The possible kingmakers.  The very idea shouldn't be in a democracy where the people rule.  These superdelegates are effectively an oligarchy.  Why so?  Because in a race even if Candidate A has received more votes than Candidate B, the superdelegates can choose Candidate B usurping the people's votes for Candidate A.   The vote of a few has silenced the voice of the people!  This goes on in both parties although in the Republican party these superdelegates are nameless.  Politics is a dirty business so let's say you're Candidate B and you know who these superdelegates are and you want to win, what do you do?   You grease them up!  Call in a few favors!   And faster than you can say, "King me!" you're the winner.  Another win for democracy!  Hooray!  This is so sad.  How can anyone not see this as a total scam?   What is even more controversial is that one of the superdelegates is none other than Bill Clinton!  Gee, wonder who he is going to vote for. Mark my words we are going to hear more of these superdelegates and I am willing to bet money that they will crown Hillary Clinton.  I'll go even farther and say that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States.

God, I hope I'm wrong.
