Last night around midnight, I notice that there is a comic book cover contest for Inception, which is one phenomenal film. I had been so busy with Grad school and Christmas that drawing took a back burner. So, I check the due date and it has to be done in 24 hours. Great. I begin sketching ideas like a madman and around 2am I think I have a winner, the question is whether or not I can finish it. 7am my alarm rings and I race around completing all of my errands and I begin drawing at 1:30pm. I think my idea is strong but rather than focus on my limitations, I work. I draw till my hand is sore. The inks are done at 9:00pm. Scan it in and I go to use my Wacom tablet and ... my computer goes crazy. No joke. It's infected with a worm, something called W32/Blaster. Instead of throwing in the towel, I read up on it, enter safe mode delete all traces and ... my tablet still doesn't work. Have you ever tried to color a piece with just a mouse? It's a pain, it's like drawing with a potato. I now know that I will not have enough time to color it. So, I stick with the red, black and white. Some of the ideas were not able to be completed, I'll let you figure them out. Thank God, my wife has a laptop that works. I just wish it had Photoshop. Uploaded with 29 minutes before the deadline.
