Hey fellow deviants. It's rare that I like a show on TV so I was really surprised by HBO's True Blood. I haven't found any good boards to talk about the show but I'm sure there are fans of the show here who are fired up about it. So feel free to post your thoughts, likes, don't like, suspicions, guesses, and OMG! kinda stuff. I think deviantart is going to have groups and it would be cool to have a True Blood group. I'll use the latest episode as a jumping off point. Here are some of my thoughts on the show.

I was so stoked with a new episode! I think Lafayette will be a vampire and there will eventually be a confrontation between him and Jason. As for Bill and Jessica I'd bet money that he allows her to feed on her father but not kill him. Jeanette's heart was ripped out and but I think the culprit has yet to appear; I think it was a werewolf. The evidence is pretty substantial that Maryanne is the goddess Circe. Circe in Greek mythology often invited humans to eat at her table. The food was drugged eventually turning the humans into pigs which she would eat. That's part of the reason why Benedict goes by the name, "Eggs," he's food for the gods. Maryanne knows exactly what Sookie is, I think she may have elf blood or fairie lineage. I'm not sure, she's something else. We all know that but I think those two are the best guesses as far as magical creatures. While Jason may be trying to turn over a new leaf, his desires are going to get the best of him and he will be having sex with the preacher's wife (was this in the preview for next week's episode?). Jason will get into a fight with the other COS member and kill him. The preacher will cover for him by saying the guy Jason kills was a vampire-sympathizer. I also think the preacher killed his father to take control of the church.
